Terms & Conditions

All visitors must download the Village Roadshow Theme Parks App and load their admission “ticket” to gain entry to the parks (other than Australian Outback Spectacular where guests are required to show their ticket purchase confirmation on a mobile device). The holder of a Village Roadshow Super Pass, Village Roadshow Mega Pass, Village Roadshow One Pass, Village Roadshow Locals One Pass or Premier, Adventure or Elite membership also agrees to load a clear headshot photograph of themselves for identification purposes and present same upon entry failing which entry may be refused.

All passes remain the property of VRTP and are not transferable to another person. Your pass cannot be sold and will be cancelled without refund if used by anyone else.

Extensions to the validity of a pass or refunds as a result of limited visitation, suspension, premises or ride closure are not granted (subject to management discretion and any requirements at law to the contrary).

• Prince or Princess of the Parade at Warner Bros. Movie World
• Doomsday wristband experience at Warner Bros. Movie World
• Buffet lunch, Wagon Rides, Opal Mining, Gold Panning, Animal Encounters and Koala Breakfast at Paradise Country
• Fast Track
• Fast Photo
• Entry to after-hours events at the parks such as Carnivale, Fright Nights and White Christmas
• All coin-operated games, lockers and candid and ride photographs and video
• Entry to special events (such as “Festival on the Farm” at Paradise Country) or private functions.

You must pay independently for all food, beverage and merchandise.

If you have purchased a product for someone else then you must make available or known to them these Terms & Conditions and by their attendance they shall be deemed to have accepted same. Where a person purchases a product for a minor the purchaser shall be responsible for the product and is the authorised representative for the minor.

We reserve the right to cancel any product and refuse entry where we reasonably believe same has been obtained in an unlawful or improper manner or in breach of these Terms & Conditions.

We may impose restrictions or limitations on access to the parks, rides, shows and attractions at any time. We may close rides, shows, attractions or the parks on a permanent or temporary basis due to inclement weather, safety, refurbishment, maintenance, Acts of God or other reasons.

You agree to comply with the Conditions of Entry and any other conditions displayed at the front gate or attractions. We may cancel or suspend any product you have purchased, or which has been purchased on your behalf and/or remove you from the premises if you breach any of these Terms & Conditions.

Any representation, warranty, condition or undertaking that would be implied in these Terms & Conditions by legislation, common law, equity, trade, custom or usage is excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any condition, warranty, right or remedy which may be conferred by the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for a breach of a non-excludable condition or warranty is limited, at our option, to:

in the case of goods, any one or more of the following:

• the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods;
• the repair of the goods;
• the payment of the cost of replacing the goods or of acquiring equivalent goods;

or

• the payment of the cost of having the goods repaired;
• in the case of services:
• the supplying of the services again; or
• the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.

All products cannot be redeemed for cash, are non-refundable (subject to management discretion and any requirements under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable laws), not exchangeable and cannot be resold.

All product prices are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST. If you do not plan on using the rides or seeing any shows or attractions but wish to enjoy the surrounds (this includes parents, pregnant women and guardians supervising or waiting for children) you must still pay full price.

Pensioner prices are available to Australian and New Zealand Government Pension card holders and listed dependants only but original valid Pension card must be presented at the time of entry.

You may be asked to provide personal information (i.e. information which is collected and identifiable as relating to you personally) before purchasing any product. All personal information collected will be maintained in accordance with our Privacy Policy and you consent to us retaining and using your personal information in accordance with such policy, a copy of which can be provided upon request. Subject to the below and any requirements at law to the contrary no extensions to validity periods are allowed.

Consequences of closure due to COVID-19

As a result of the temporary closure of the Parks due to COVID-19 directions the following conditions apply to products valid and subsisting at the date of closure as listed below:-

General Admission Entry Tickets - both Adult and Children - (and any other type of entry ticket described below) are valid only for the date and show booked, failing which it will be deemed void and not able to be used. No change to the seat allocated to each ticket purchased is permitted. Ticket is non-refundable (unless required by law), not exchangeable or transferrable and cannot be resold nor redeemed for cash. Pensioner prices only available to Australian and New Zealand residents.

General Admission - Children

Free for children 2 years and under (but does not include seat [child to be situated on parent’s lap] nor a meal). General Admission Entry Ticket Children’s rate is applicable for children aged 3 - 13 years inclusive and for children aged 2 years and under where an individual seat and meal is to be served.

Top Rail Premium

Free for children 2 years and under (not including seat and meal). Includes entry ticket to Top Rail section of venue plus 1 x pre-show beverage (from selection of draught and packaged beer, cocktails, spirit range, glass of premium wine or a souvenir vessel filled with soft drink), 1 x souvenir and 1 x exclusive photograph.

The Drovers Lounge

Includes entry ticket to Drovers Lounge section of venue plus four course dinner accompanied by a premium suite of beverages, 1 x backstage tour, 1 x souvenir photo and 1 x show program. Drovers Lounge seats 12 guests but package does not guarantee exclusive use of the lounge.

Australian Outback Spectacular Family Pass - General Admission

Includes 2x Adult General Admission entry tickets and 2x Child General Admission entry tickets. Valid for shows from 29 January - 31 March 2021 inclusive. Additional General Admission Adult or Child entry tickets may be purchased (ticket numbers are limited) in conjunction with this Pass at the discounted rate of $62.25 for Sunday - Friday shows and $77.25 for Saturday shows. Excludes paid experiences. Not valid with any other offer or promotion.

Australian Outback Spectacular Family Pass - Top Rail Premium

Includes 2x Adult Top Rail Premium entry tickets and 2x Child Top Rail Premium entry tickets. Valid for shows from 29 January - 31 March 2021 inclusive. Additional Top Rail Premium Adult or Child entry tickets may be purchased (ticket numbers are limited) in conjunction with this Pass at the discounted rate of $89.75 for Sunday - Friday shows and $107.25 for Saturday shows. Excludes paid experiences. Not valid with any other offer or promotion.

Entitles admission to Paradise Country during normal advertised operating hours and covers all rides, shows and attractions (you must pay independently for all food, beverage and merchandise) BUT EXCLUDES:-

• wagon rides, opal mining, gold panning, animal encounters and Koala Breakfast
• all coin-operated games, lockers, candid and ride photographs and video
• entry to after hours or special events (such as “Festival on the Farm”) or private functions
• lunch at Farmhouse Restaurant.

Pass must be used within 12 months from the date of purchase (failing which it will be deemed void and not able to be used) and is valid on the day of use only.

A Single Day Pass to Warner Bros. Movie World, Sea World or Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast (“the Parks”) entitles admission during normal advertised operating hours and covers all rides, shows and attractions (you must pay independently for all food, beverage and merchandise) BUT EXCLUDES those items set out above as exclusions to Admission Passes.

Pass must be used within 12 months from the date of purchase (failing which it will be deemed void and not able to be used) and is valid on the day of use only.

Warner Bros. Movie World and Sea World Single Day Tickets are entitled to a free Burger Meal [1 burger and chips] lunch from Gotham City Café at Warner Bros. Movie World and Plaza Prime Burgers at Sea World. Valid for redemption Monday to Friday only between 11am – 2:30pm from 18 August to 17 September 2020. Only valid for one (1) redemption. Present valid Warner Bros. Movie World and Sea World Single Day Ticket to redeem.

Warner Bros. Movie World and Sea World Single Day Tickets are entitled to 15% off selected items in Retail stores at Warner Bros. Movie World, Sea World, Wet’n’Wild and Paradise Country [see in-store for applicable sale items]. Valid for redemption Monday to Friday only from 18 August to 17 September 2020. Present valid Warner Bros. Movie World and Sea World Single Day Ticket to redeem. Offer excludes Billabong product.

Entitles admission to Warner Bros. Movie World, Sea World and Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast during normal advertised operating hours and covers all rides, shows and attractions (you must pay independently for all food, beverage and merchandise) subject to the same exclusions as noted above for the Single Day Pass. Pass must be used within 12 months from the date of purchase (failing which it will be deemed void and not able to be used) and is valid for three (3) consecutive days only.

Entitles admission to Warner Bros. Movie World, Sea World, Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast and Paradise Country during normal advertised operating days and hours for fourteen (14) consecutive days from the date of first visit. Pass covers all rides, shows and attractions (you must pay independently for all food, beverage and merchandise) subject to the same exclusions as noted above for the Single Day Pass and Paradise Country One Day Pass unless otherwise advised. Pass must be first used within 12 months from date of purchase (failing which it will be deemed void and not able to be used).

Entitles admission to Warner Bros. Movie World, Sea World, Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast and Paradise Country during normal advertised operating days and hours for one (1) year from the date of first visit. Pass cover all rides, shows and attractions (you must pay independently for all food, beverage and merchandise) subject to the same exclusions as noted above for the Single Day Pass and Paradise Country One Day Pass unless otherwise advised. Each holder is also entitled during the validity period of the pass to:-

• one (1) free entry to White Christmas at Warner Bros. Movie World;
• one (1) free entry to Carnivale at Sea World;
• one (1) free entry to Sea World Spooky Nights 2020;
• discounted unlimited soft drink refills for $7.99 per visit; &
• discounted unlimited digital fast photos for $10 per visit.

*Topgolf Lifetime Membership Inclusion

Eligible One Pass holders must visit the Warner Bros. Movie World Adventure Centre and present their One Pass in order to be issued a voucher for their Topgolf Lifetime Membership. The voucher is single-use and cannot be transferred or exchanged. The voucher must be presented at Topgolf Gold Coast in conjunction with the guest’s Village Roadshow One Pass and can only be redeemed in the name of the Village Roadshow One Pass holder. The voucher entitles guests to a Topgolf Lifetime Membership valued at $5 and does not include Topgolf gameplay. Pass covers all rides, shows and attractions (you must pay independently for all food, beverage and merchandise) subject to the same exclusions as noted above for the Single Day Pass unless otherwise advised. Must be first used within 12 months from date of purchase (failing which it will be deemed void and not able to be used).

If the Gift Card is defaced, mutilated, altered, lost or stolen it will not be replaced, refunded or redeemed. The Gift Card can be used for the purchase of merchandise or services (exceptions apply) at selected outlets in-park or front gate but is not redeemable for cash nor can you obtain any cash advance using the Gift Card. The Gift Card may be used on more than one occasion. The Gift Card must be used within 36 months from the issue date shown of the back failing which it will be deemed void and not able to be used. Any unused balance upon expiry cannot be refunded or credited. The Gift Card cannot be reloaded [i.e. value cannot be added to it]. The minimum value of any purchase that can be made using the Gift Card is $5. Any purchase that you wish to make that exceeds the available balance of the Gift Card shall require you to pay the difference by another payment method e.g. cash or credit card. The Gift Card may not be resold nor is it refundable unless required by law.

We reserve the right to:-

1. limit the number of Gift Cards purchased by any person or entity
2. refuse any request for redemption of the Gift Card.

Copyright in the Gift Card and other intellectual property rights in respect of the Gift Card are owned or used under licence by us, our affiliates, corporate partners or licensors, unless expressly indicated to the contrary. As far as is permitted by law, you agree when you use the Gift Card to indemnify and release us in respect of any claims, loss or damage incurred or arising as a result of your use or redemption of the Gift Card. In the event the Gift Card’s code is non-functional for reasons other than your misuse or neglect, our sole liability shall be replacement of the Gift Card.

To use the virtual queue (VQ) system you need a compatible smartphone and internet connection with access to the Village Roadshow Theme Parks app [download the app anytime at https://themeparks.com.au/download-app.

A valid entrance ticket must be linked to the app account to redeem a VQ entitlement. One VQ entitlement is given per ticket type linked.

The VQ system is valid for selected rides and attractions in the park which are subject to change.

For technical, operational and other reasons beyond our control any ride may be closed or otherwise be unavailable at any time without notification. If you have made a reservation and: -

• the ride closes your reservation will be postponed until the ride reopens
• the ride closes and does not reopen you will be asked to swap you reservation for another ride.

You can only make one VQ reservation at a time – reservations are always subject to availability. The VQ system will reserve a time for a ride in the future and give you a dedicated timeslot to return & check into the ride. The allocated VQ time does not guarantee instant access onto the ride and there may be times when a guest has to wait past their allocated time.

You must only enter the specific ride that is on your reservation via the VQ or Fast Track line to redeem your reservation and you cannot enter the line until your reservation is ready.

All participation is subject to final assessment by the VRTP staff member at the time of attendance. In the event of such cancellation participants will either be rebooked into another Backwards Ride (subject to availability) or given a full refund of monies paid. Ride Backwards bookings are valid only for the date and time specified.

Intended participants must hold a valid pass to enter the park. Participants must be 10 years of age or over, a minimum of 152cm and a maximum of 190.5cm in height, weigh no more than 125kg and have a maximum hip size of 115cm (for safe harness fit) to participate. Participants must be able to speak and/or understand English, or have a translator participate in the program with them. Persons acting as a translator must advise staff at the start of the program. Translators must satisfy all criteria. Participants must be able to follow directions quickly to the satisfaction of staff and able to quickly exit the car and arena unassisted at the direction of staff. Participants must have controlled motor movement and, based on medical advice, must not be pregnant.

Persons who do not satisfy all these requirements will not be able to participate and will not be eligible for a refund (subject to any requirements at law to the contrary).

Warner Bros. Movie World Single Day Admission is included. Guests are required to check in at Warner Bros. Movie World front gate ten minutes prior to the tour start time of 8:30am. Guests must be at least 140cm to participate in all activities. Participants will be measured on the day of the tour and if they do not satisfy the height requirement they will not be able to participate and will not be eligible for a refund (subject to any requirements at law to the contrary). Village Roadshow One Pass, Premier and Elite Village Theme Parks Unlimited Members are entitled to one (1) free of charge admission ticket entitling entry on one night only of the Carnivale event. This MUST be pre-booked at seaworldcarnivale.com.au. 

A Carnivale admission ticket entitles entry to the Carnivale event on the date specified on the admission ticket only between 6:30pm and 8:30pm. No extension to the validity period is available. Admission ticket does not entitle the bearer to day admission to Sea World. PLEASE NOTE: Ride queues may close prior to ride closure time to allow all queued guests to ride.
