Frequently Asked Questions

As part of our COVID Safe Plan, Village Roadshow Theme Parks is required to keep a record of guests entering the park. The Village Roadshow Theme Parks app will require you to create an account and provide your details prior to entering the park.

We recommend you download the app, add your ticket & complete the COVID tracing form prior to visiting for the best in park experience. As per the QLD Government requirements we are required to collect all guests data, if you complete the form in the app you will only need to do this once, if you choose not to use the app you will need to fill a form each time you visit at the front gate before entering.

We understand that not all guests have access to a smart phone, if you are unable to download the Village Roadshow Theme Parks App, please see one of our team members at our Front Gates to assist with signing in and providing your contact details.

In all individual cases, it is one (1) account per device

For large groups recommend splitting into smaller groups, then one (1) account per group (together)

We encourage guests to complete the setup with a WI-FI connection at home prior to the visiting the parks.

No public Wi-Fi available is available in park.

We recommend selecting ALWAYS ALLOW App to use device location.

GPS is needed to access Ride Wait Times in park & used for maps/wayfinding and push messaging is needed to remind guests when their ride reservations are ready, and for important announcements in park

Always allow bluetooth.

We recommend allowing Bluetooth so we can send you offers/deals in park.

Check device settings, enable automatic updates for the “Village Roadshow Theme Parks” app.
Note: Village Roadshow Theme Parks will make frequent updates available, to ensure you are using the latest version, turn on automatic updates.

Select “Sign Up” in the “Profile”, to find: Select a park > Navigate to “Profile”.
Complete details such as: Name, Email, Mobile, & Password.
Follow the remaining instructions in-app.
Note: Create a password using a capital letter, a number, & special character (! @ # $)

You must first register an account, go to the “Profile”, select “Sign Up”
In the “Profile”, select “ADD TICKETS”
Scan each valid ticket barcode to add a ticket.
Repeat for each ticket you are adding
If you have the purchase/order details handy, simply type the ORDER ID number & use the app email account to enter.
It may take a few minutes to process and ticket to appear in the app, try refresh the page by: Navigate to “Home” > then back to “Profile”
Note: Using either option is available, the only difference is when adding by barcode it adds each individual ticket, per scan. Entering ORDER details will retrieve all of the order tickets, passes, extras etc.

Yes, Extras can be stored if there is a barcode. Follow the steps as you would to add the entry tickets (refer to “How Do I Add Tickets” above) except you are scanning a barcode for the extra(s) or entitlements you wish to add.

Be sure you are scanning a valid entry ticket barcode, not a coupon or non-activated ticket. The barcode is usually a unique 18-digit numerical string.

You must add your tickets to claim a free Virtual Queue entitlement.

When you have created the other account, simply scan the barcode you wish to add to the next account, & both accounts will share the same ticket. You should only share tickets with an account that is associated to the ticket.

If you have added the old ticket before upgrading, the new ticket will replace once the order is completed. If the ticket has not refreshed, scan the new upgraded ticket barcode to the app.

If you have purchased via a travel agency or third-party (example Qantas Holidays), please follow the redemption instructions listed on your voucher. Once your pass is processed by our Admissions team, they will supply you with a barcoded ticket which you can scan into the App for entry.

Purchases made via selected third parties (example Experience Oz, Get Your Guide, Entertainment Publications) where an individual barcode is displayed (these are usually a unique 18-digit numerical string) can be added directly into the App prior to arrival. Please ensure to follow the redemption instructions listed on your ticket as additional steps may be required to activate.

Virtual Queue is only available on selected rides and attractions across our parks. Please note, Virtual Queue is not available at Wet’n’Wild. Check the app during your next visit to view participating attractions.
