Step through the gates and into a blockbuster nightmare. Warner Bros. Movie World Fright Nights on the Gold Coast brings frightening thrills into a cinematic thrill where every shadow is alive and screams fill the air. Whether you come with your crew of friends, a daring date, or a gang of thrill-seeking teens, this is the Halloween event that makes the whole coast whisper the next day.

Four young adults stand close together indoors, reacting with surprise and fear to something off-camera. Their expressions and body language suggest they are startled or scared.

Why Fright Nights is the Halloween Event to Choose

Step into the park as darkness tightens, and the sets come alive. Movie World transforms into an immersive haunted world on Friday and Saturday nights throughout October. With five terrifying mazes, roaming scares, live shows, and pulse-pounding entertainment.

Take that extra step in the darkness and into a world where every attraction is designed to push your bravery. Take on the DC Rivals HyperCoaster, Flight of the Wicked Witch, Batwing Spaceshot, Green Lantern Coaster, and the Wild West Falls at night for a whole different and thrilling experience.

Experience live music with bands and DJs throughout the night and indulge in an array of different food and drink.

Three people in costume: one in a black feathered outfit, another in a straitjacket reaching out and screaming, and a third in a grotesque, monstrous bear suit, all in a dim, stone-walled room.
Two people in colorful clown costumes with scary makeup wield bats, appearing to frighten a man and a woman who look scared. Other people are visible in the background of a dimly lit, carnival-like setting.
Two frightened women stand in a small, dimly lit room as a tall figure in a red striped suit and hat looms menacingly, casting a dramatic shadow on the wall. The floor has a black-and-white checkered pattern.

New Mazes to Discover

This year brings two brand new mazes that raise the bar on fear. Eternal Dark Maze tosses you into a derelict spacecraft where half-human crew members lurk, infected and hungry. The Krypt of Kain Maze drags you beneath the Hotel of Horrors into a ritual-soaked basement that festers with fiends.

These new attractions are designed to deliver new frights even for repeat visitors.

Three people in elaborate costumes stand in a dimly lit stone room. One wears a beastly mask and holds an axe, another is in black with a feathered mask, and the third is in a bear suit holding a torch. Chains hang around them.
Two people in dark, rugged costumes struggle violently in a dim, industrial setting; one has glowing eyes and zombie-like features, holding the other man by the collar as he tries to fight back.

The Full Cast of Mazes and Experiences

Beyond the new mazes, you will face the twisted Circurse Maze, the ocean haunted Hellship Maze, and the fan favourite, DCeased Maze, where iconic Super Heroes fall into chilling horror. Each maze is a set filled with practical effects, and cinematic pacing, so you feel like you are in the middle of a horror film.

Grab your crew and step inside one of eight terrifying panic rooms*, each with its own twisted storyline and level of difficulty. Designed for 2–6 players, these escape rooms last 20 minutes, and are no ordinary challenge rooms. They are dark, immersive worlds that swallow you whole. As the door locks behind you, time begins to hunt you down. You’ll face cryptic clues, high-pressure puzzles, and unsettling atmospheres that test both your wits and your nerves. From cursed tombs to haunted diners and eerie morgues, every room is a cinematic nightmare waiting to trap you. Do you have what it takes to make it out before the clock runs out?

WB Horror Encounters is where you can face the icons of horror, up close! Step into a nightmare and come face-to-face with fear, as Crooked Man, Valak, Pennywise, and Regan step out of the shadows to torment your every move, all captured in chilling photo and video moments in terrifyingly detailed sets.
