It is a mandatory requirement that guests download the Village Roadshow Theme Parks app and load their entry tickets. For Australian Outback Spectacular, guests can show their confirmation email on their mobile device.

At Village Roadshow Theme Parks our number one priority remains the health and safety of our Guests and Team Members and we’re delighted to reopen under an approved industry COVID Safe plan. As part of our reopening, guests may notice some changes to their experience and our parks when they return.  

 

Park Specific Changes

Each of our properties offer world class attractions and experiences and in some instances you may notice some changes across our parks in order to deliver on our COVID Safe Plan and commitment to the safety and wellbeing of our guests and team members. Some rides and attractions will not be operational due to the requirements of our COVID Safe plan or maintenance schedules. Some of the changes you may see across our parks are:

Warner Bros. Movie World

• Movie World is currently operating at 100% capacity
• The Streets Star Parade is being performed under COVID Safe Practices and will take place at 3:00pm. We ask that all guests maintain physical distancing before, during and after the completion of the parade for the safety of our guests and team members. Please note the Prince or Princess of the Parade is unavailable and there will be no meet and greets with characters during the parade.
• Changes to character meet and greet opportunities and locations to ensure physical distancing
• It is a mandatory requirement that guests download the Village Roadshow Theme Parks app and load their entry tickets.

Sea World Theme Park & Resort

• Sea World is currently operating at 100% capacity
• Some changes to the way we run our Animal Adventures programs and photo opportunities
• Changes to Character meet and greet opportunities and locations to ensure physical distancing
• Changes to how guests enter and exit animal exhibits
• It is a mandatory requirement that guests download the Village Roadshow Theme Parks app and load their entry tickets.

Sea World Resort will require guests dining to make a reservation and provide their contact details at each restaurant

Wet’n’Wild

• Please note: Wet’n’Wild is currently operating Thursday to Sunday until 28th March. Wet'n'Wild will recommence 7 day trade from Monday 29th March to Saturday 24th April. Check the operating hours prior to your visit.
• Wet’n’Wild is currently operating at 100% capacity
• It is a mandatory requirement that guests download the Village Roadshow Theme Parks app and load their entry tickets.
• Due to our Covid Safe Plan at Wet’n’Wild visitor groups must only consume individually packaged (not communal) food items. Sharing of food is not permitted amongst groups where all group members do not live in the same household.
• Barbecue facilities are temporarily unavailable.
• You can view our maintenance schedule prior to your visit

Paradise Country & Farmstay

• Paradise Country is currently operating at 100% capacity
• Changes to some of our Animal Experiences
• Changes to how guests enter and exit animal exhibits
• It is a mandatory requirement that guests download the Village Roadshow Theme Parks app and load their entry tickets.
Paradise Country Farmstay morning experiences will now be completed on foot
• You can view our maintenance schedule prior to your visit

Australian Outback Spectacular

• Australian Outback Spectacular is currently operating at 100% capacity.
• Tickets to Australian Outback Spectacular cannot be loaded onto the Village Roadshow Theme Parks app but guests can show their confirmation email on their mobile devices when entering the venue
• Guests can purchase drinks from Bazza’s Bar before heading into the arena
• Pre-show entertainment will take place in the arena instead of in Bazza’s Bar

Frequently Asked Questions

All activated Village Roadshow One Passes and 4 Park Annual Passes will be extended for a period of 4 months from your current expiry date. For example If your original pass expiry date was 23rd May (2 months use remaining at closure), your new expiry date will be 23rd September (2 months after reopening ). Annual pass holders with queries relating to border closures should Contact Us.
Membership payments have been temporarily paused during the closure period and will recommence on 23 July 2020.
All tickets and passes are able to be activated (used for the first time) within 12-months from date of purchase. The validity for activation for first use on all used tickets will be extended by 4 months.
Tickets will be reissued to you allowing you to reuse your multi-day pass in full. Please complete the form available here.

Sea World Resort is still open and operating. We’re now committed more than ever and have introduced a COVID-Safe action plan.

Guests who have booked directly with Sea World Resort can feel free to contact us regarding their booking via email at reservations@seaworldresort.com.au. If your booking was made through a third party you must contact that company to amend your reservation. For new bookings, book with confidence knowing you have a flexible stay guarantee. Booking changes are subject to rate and room availability.
Our dining venues are open and operating to a limited capacity under an industry approved COVID Safe Plan.
All Topgolf vouchers which were impacted during the temporary closure have been extended for the duration of the closure.

Face masks are not required to be worn when visiting, however you may wear one if you wish to do so. Due to the recent Queensland Government announcement and advice, there are some restrictions in-place for the Greater Brisbane area, and we encourage all visitors from this area to visit the Queensland Health Page prior to their visit.
